This morning I got up at 4:15am to write, which isn't uncommon lately. I'm behind on a project, and I'm trying not to panic about getting it done. While I was waiting for the coffee pot to finish brewing, I was scrolling through some of the old photos my phone wanted to show me, and this one from March 2014 popped up. During that time I was also panicking about being late with a book -- especially since I had a newborn at home. Back then, the world seemed impossible in so many ways, but I opened that fortune cookie and it seemed to have the exact message I needed to read in the exact moment I needed to read it, so I took a picture of it.

Right now, the world still feels impossible in so many ways, and I've still got a book to write. I don't think it's a coincidence that the universe gave me this reminder right when I needed it. ❤️
